About Anna Wayne
Let me introduce myself,
Howdy! My name is Anna, member of the fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2014, Registered Nurse, lover of geldings (still working on mares 😂), barrel racer, Cavalier enthusiast, obsessed with all things creative, and knowledge thirsty on anything that has to do with dinosaurs, stars, or rocks.
My passion is the barrel futurities. My first inside look at the futurities was back in 2018 on a gray mare named Blew. In 2022 the futurity bug resurfaced with a gelding named Rozwell (pictured here), he made me fall in love with the game. He gave me confidence, partnership, and true appreciation of what hard work can accomplish. Currently, I've got a 2026 futurity colt that we've bred (out of Blew) raised, and trained. To bring one from the ground to the arena brings a whole new sense of thrill to the game.
In 2023 I had an idea of starting a shirt brand. I wanted quality, functionality, and a sense of confidence . You know that feeling when you're entered up and have a chance at success... why not dress that way? After a week of contemplating and a 6 month design process 'Anna Wayne' was born. There was only one fitting brand image... the gelding that taught me what hard work can accomplish. Anytime I get overwhelmed with the business (in a good way! but still overwhelmed) I look at that face on the top left chest and am reminded that success isn't easy.
I'd like to extend a huge thank you to my mom, dad, fiancé, Frida, Alberto, Ashley, and everyone else who helps make my dreams to come true.
From the very first time to the most recent moments our shirts are seen in the arena, the feeling never changes. Thank you to every new and returning customer for letting us be part of your success.
